Two famed strains, Blue Dream and Trainwreck, join forces in this sativa-dominant hybrid, which has a sativa/indica ratio of at least 70:30. There is little public information on THC levels in this strain, but the few available tests suggest it isn't terribly high, 15% or less. CBD contents are very low, much less than 1%, making Blue Train a less-than-ideal choice for combatting seizures or other medical problems that respond to CBD. Instead, this strain can be used as an effective treatment for anxiety, headaches, ADHD, inflammation, muscle spasms, and chronic pain. The high is calming and euphoric, with mental focus and a boost of happiness. Blue Train induces powerful hunger, so it's useful in treating wasting conditions or eating disorders. The Trainwreck ancestry in this strain creates a strong berry flavor and aroma, with specific hints of sweet blueberries and sour citrus notes. The nugs are lime green, purple, and brown with a light layer of trichomes. Expect dry eyes and cottonmouth when using Blue Train, as well as possible paranoia and dizziness. Available on medical markets in the American West – including California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Colorado – this strain is less common elsewhere.
