Dragonite is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the infamous Mendocino Purps X another unknown hybrid strain. While nobody but its breeders are quite sure what its second parent strain is, Dragonite is often sought out by both breeders and patients alike thanks to its super delicious flavor and long-lasting, full-bodied effects. This bud has a super sweet and sugary fruity strawberry berry flavor with hints of fresh blueberries and spicy cherries to it, too. The aroma is almost like a freshly baked berry pie, with hints of nutty dough, fresh fruity berries and sweet sugary cherries galore. The Dragonite high will hit you in slow warming waves, washing over you with a tingly effect before fully taking hold. Your mind will feel lifted into a happy yet heady state that's slightly heavy and super calming in nature. As your mind fades further and further into heady bliss, your body will begin to succumb to the growing effects of the tingle, eventually leaving you completely relaxed and couch-locked. With these effects and its high 20% + average THC level, Dragonite is often chosen to treat conditions such as chronic pain, insomnia, chronic fatigue, depression, appetite loss and chronic stress. This bud has fluffy, pepper-shaped forest green nugs with purple undertones, thick red-orange hairs and chunky, pink-tinted white trichomes.
