Gridlock, also known more commonly as “Granddaddy Purps,” is an evenly balanced hybrid (50% indica/50% sativa) strain created by crossing the delicious Big Bud X Purple Urkle strains. This celebrity strain is most famous for its sweet and spicy musky wine flavor and long-lasting effects. The aroma of Gridlock is very musky and pungent, with spicy hints of dank kush and berry and an overtone of sweet grapes that's almost intoxicating. The Gridlock high is just as mesmerizing, with well-balanced effects that hit both mind and body with a potent high. It starts with an uplifted onset that leaves you euphoric and happy with a tendency towards hazy yet peaceful introspection and general spaciness. A relaxing body melt will soon follow, easing away any aches or pains without weighing you down too heavily or putting you to sleep. Coupled with its 15-20% average THC level, Gridlock is said to be perfect for treating conditions such as chronic pain, insomnia, muscle spasms or cramps, and appetite loss. Gridlock buds have super dense and tight spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with purple undertones, bright orange hairs, and a super sticky coating of sweet syrupy resin.
