Mendo Purple Urkle, also known as “MendocinoPurple Urkle,” is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the classic Mendocino Purple X Purple Urkle strains. This celebrity combination yields a gorgeous bud with an amazing flavor and giddy, giggly high that will have you laughing uncontrollably for hours on end. Like its name suggests, Mendo Purple Urkle has a beautifully long and pepper-shaped minty green nugs with vibrantly purple undertones, lots of thin, purplish-red hairs and a coating of tiny, bright purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. As you pull apart each frosty, purple little nugget, aromas of sweet fruity berries and spicy grapes are released, all wrapped up with a hint of woody pine and a touch of savory, spicy skunk. The flavor is on the sweeter end of the spectrum, with a sugary fruity grape taste accented by spicy berries and flowery skunk. The Mendo Purple Urkle high isn't quite as bright as its flavor or appearance, with soothing effects that will numb and sedate you rather than leave you energized. You'll feel lifted and happy from start to finish with a boost in sociability that allows you to get chatting with those around you. A relaxing body high accompanies this happy lift, helping you to stretch out and kick back before knocking you into an oblivious, peaceful sleep. Combined with its high 17-23% average THC level, these effects give Mendo Purple Urkle an edge in treating chronic pain, arthritis, insomnia, chronic stress and cramps or muscle spasms.
