Ohio Candy is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created as a phenotype of the infamous Cotton Candy strain. Named for its state of heritage and delicious flavor, Ohio Candy is the perfect tasty hybrid to add to any evening lineup. Like its parent strain, Ohio Candy packs a super sweet and sugary berry candy flavor with touches of sour citrusy lemon and fresh Granny Smith apples. The aroma is just as bright, with a sour lemon overtone accented by spicy flowers and a punch of fresh fruity berries. The Ohio Candy high isn't quite as vibrant, with soothing effects that will have you feeling sleepy before you even realize what's going on. You'll feel lifted and happy as your mental state is infused with a sense of calm that instantly wipes away any bad moods or racing thoughts to speak of. As your mind settles into this blissful state, your body will begin to fall further and further into the couch, leaving you feeling fully relaxed from head to toe and ready to get to sleep. With these effects and its high 19-20% average THC level, Ohio Candy is often chosen to treat a variety of conditions including chronic pain, depression or mood swings, chronic stress or anxiety and insomnia. This bud has fluffy spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with golden amber undertones, lots of thin orange hairs and amber-tinted white crystal trichomes.
