Pineapple Black, also known as “Black Pineapple,” is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through an unknown combination of other hybrid strains. Although its exact parentage is kept a closely guarded secret by its breeders, Pineapple Black is often sought out for its delicious flavor and soothing high. Like its name suggests, this bud has tight and dense dark olive-green spade-shaped nugs with deep purple, almost black, undertones, thin orange hairs and a chunky coating of dark, purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. As you pull apart each sticky little nugget, aromas of sweet fruity pineapples, sour citrus and spicy black pepper are released, intensifying in pungency as the nugs are burned away. The flavor is on the lighter side of things, with a juicy tropical pineapple taste accented by hints of spicy black pepper. The Pineapple Black isn't quite as bright as the flavor, with relaxing effects that will help you settle down and kick back rather than get you energized. You'll feel a happy cerebral sense from start to finish accompanied by a deep sense of calm that washes over your body, locking you to the couch and leaving you with a soothing physical stone. Combined with its high 21-33% average THC level, these effects make Pineapple Black a great choice for treating chronic pain, depression or mood swings, headaches or migraines and chronic stress.
