Pineapple Preserves is a rare evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through an unknown combination of other fruity hybrid strains. Although its true heritage is unknown due to a high level of breeder secrecy, Pineapple Preserves is often thought to be a member of the Pineapple family due to its amazing flavor and fragrance. Much like its name suggests, this bud has a super sweet and sour tropical pineapple flavor with a lightly spicy and peppery exhale. The aroma is very similar, with a sour pineapple overtone that's accented by a punch of spicy black pepper and hash. The Pineapple Preserves high isn't quite as vibrant, with effects that will get your brain moving, although you won't be able to focus on much of anything at all. Rather, you'll feel lifted with a sense of happy motivation that gets you jumping on creative activities that don't require too much focus. This heady state will have you feeling sociable and giggly at times, falling into fits of laughter at the remotest sign of something funny. With these effects and its moderate 14-18% average THC level and 0-1% CBD level, Pineapple Preserves is often chosen to treat those suffering from conditions such as chronic fatigue, depression, chronic stress or anxiety and mood swings. This bud has small, spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with lots of thin orange hairs and a coating of frosty, milky golden-amber crystal trichomes.
