Purple Octane is an indica dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created as a phenotype of the classic Hi-Octane strain. Named for its gorgeous appearance, Purple Octane is the perfect choice for any lover of iconic indica strains. This bud has beautiful small, rounded forest green nugs with deep purple undertones, thin light orange hairs and a frosty thick coating of deep purple-tinted white crystal trichomes dripping with sweet sticky resin. As you pull apart each sparkling little nugget, aromas of spicy diesel and peppery grape wine are released, intensifying the more that you toke. The flavor falls on the sweeter side of the spectrum, with a spicy yet sweet grape wine taste accented by a touch of savory diesel upon exhale. The Purple Octane has a slow build of effects, creeping into the brain first before taking on the body. You'll find yourself suddenly feeling lifted and euphoric out of nowhere, without a care in the world. At the same time, a light tingle will begin within your body, growing into a full buzz before locking you to the couch in a state of heavy soothing relaxation. A sleepy sense comes next, washing over you and helping you really settle down before dozing off. Combined with its high 23-24% average THC level and 1-2% CBD level, these effects make Purple Octane perfect for treating insomnia, chronic stress or anxiety, depression or mood swings, chronic pain and cramps or muscle spasms.
