Purple Raine is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the potent OG Kush X Chemdawg X Purple Candy Kush strains. Named for its gorgeous appearance and celebrity parentage, Purple Raine is a great choice for any hybrid lover who's after a soothing and relaxing high to get them kicked back before they finally get to sleep at night. This bud has a sweet and sour citrusy lemon flavor with a rich purple grape and berry aftertaste upon exhale. The aroma is very similar, with a sweet grape overtone accented by touches of spicy pine and fresh berries. The Purple Raine high starts with a slow build of effects after your final exhale, working its way into your mind with a soothing lift that eases away any negative or racing thoughts. You'll find your mind feeling relaxed and slightly unfocused with a budding sense of creative euphoria that gets your mental gears turning. As your mind settles, your body will begin to fall off into a deeply relaxing and calming state that can leave you couch-locked at times. Combined with its high 19% + average THC level, these effects make Purple Raine a great choice for treating chronic stress or anxiety, depression, arthritis and insomnia. This bud has fat spade-shaped minty green nugs with purple undertones, thin orange hairs and a coating of tiny frosty white crystal trichomes.
