Redwood Burl is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) or a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through an unknown combination of other hybrid strains. Although its parentage is widely debated in the community, Redwood Burl is highly sought out for its gorgeous appearance and giddy, giggly high that will have you feeling like you don’t have a care in the world. This bud has mountainous, long fluffy pepper-shaped minty green nugs with lots of thin red-orange hairs and a coating of tiny, golden-white crystal trichomes. As you pull apart each red little nugget, aromas of spicy diesel, fruity flowers and deliciously tangy tropical fruits are released. The flavor is just as delicious, with a sweet tropical fruity overtone accented by earthy flowers and a touch of spicy black pepper. The Redwood Burl high will hit you almost as soon as you exhale, providing instant numbing relief in the brain that knocks you right out of focus and right into happiness. You’ll be giddy and giggly, easily laughing at anything and everything around you while not really able to carry on much of a conversation. A heavy body stone comes next, dropping you off and leaving you feeling totally out of touch and unable to move at all. With these heavy effects and its high 15-19% average THC level, Redwood Burl is often chosen to treat patients suffering from conditions such as chronic stress or anxiety, depression or mood swings and appetite loss or nausea.
