Sleeping Dog is a slightly indica dominant hybrid strain (60% indica/40% sativa) created through crossing the powerful Alien Abduction X Wizard's Potion X Merlot V strains. Searching for a great bud to help you get to sleep after a long and stressful day or week? Sleeping Dog is totally for you. Like its name suggests, this bud packs a happy and sleepy high that will have you stretching out on the couch, the bed, the floor or anything else in sight for a quick nap. You'll feel a boost of the spirits accompany this happy relaxation, helping ease away negative or racing thoughts and replacing them with a sense of unfocused bliss. A sense of calm comes next, washing over your entire body and leaving you feeling fully sedated before you finally doze off. Combined with its high 18-19% average THC level and 0-1% CBD level, these effects give Sleeping Dog an edge in treating conditions such as insomnia, chronic pain, depression, cramps or muscle spasms and arthritis. This bud has a sweet and spicy fruity licorice taste that tingles on the tongue. The aroma is very similar, although with a heavy earthy pungency to it, too. Sleeping Dog buds have airy bright neon green nugs with golden undertones, thin orange hairs and a coating of tiny golden-tinted white crystal trichomes.
