Sugar Babe is an indica dominant hybrid (70% indica/30% sativa OR 80% indica/20% sativa) strain created through a cross of the classic Afghani Indica X Swiss White. This bud definitely gets it name from its appearance, and not its taste! Sugar Babe has a stingingly sharp flavor and smell of metallic lemon with a harshly chemical aftertaste much akin to ammonia, not anything like what its name implies! Sugar Babe buds have oversized dense rotund spade-shaped light minty green nugs with lots of almost clear amber hairs and a super frosty layer of white and amber crystal trichomes that almost looks like a sweet sugar coating. The Sugar Babe high is even more delicious with potent daytime effects that are fueled by a high average THC level of 16-20%. This high starts with an uplifting and energetic cerebral effect that leaves you stoney and spacey but doesn't affect your functionality at all. You'll still feel energized but with a calming and relaxing effect that pulls you back to earth. Because of these potent effects, Sugar Babe is often used for treating mood swings, chronic anxiety, appetite loss, mild to moderate cases of depression, and chronic fatigue.
