Sunset Shortcake is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Sunset Sherbet X Strawberry Shortcake strains. Named for its classic heritage and delicious flavor, Sunset Shortcake is one bud that any hybrid lover needs to add to their list. The high starts with a subtle boost of effects, working its way into your mind with a lifted sense of almost giddy euphoria and happiness. A sense of focused creativity accompanies this heady lift, lending itself well to any artistic task at hand. As your mind lifts, your body will settle into a lightly relaxing state that's stimulating and won't cause any sort of sedation whatsoever. Combined with its high 18-21% average THC level, these effects make Sunset Shortcake a great choice for treating chronic stress, depression, mood swings, chronic fatigue and ADD or ADHD. This bud has a sweet and fruity strawberry berry flavor with a lightly nutty vanilla cake exhale. The aroma is very similar, although it does have a punch of sour lemony citrus to it, too. Sunset Shortcake buds have dense and fluffy grape-shaped dark olive green nugs with dark purple undertones, thin orange hairs and a coating of tiny frosty amber crystal trichomes.
